Antarctica21 is partnering with Leica to elevate the Antarctic air-cruise experience for guests.  

Starting with the 2026-27 season, Leica’s equipment and expertise will be featured across the Antarctica21 fleet, aboard both the Magellan Explorer and the new Magellan Discoverer, and at Explorers House, the company’s expedition center in Punta Arenas. 

Guests aboard both ships will get a curated Leica experience, featuring binoculars, spotting scopes and selected imaging products available for use throughout the expedition.  

“In Antarctica, what you see is everything. Our expedition teams work to help guests understand a wild and fragile world, always on nature’s terms. Leica shares that philosophy,” said Nicolás Gildemeister, EVP of product and operations at Antarctica21.

“Their optics turn a distant silhouette into a moment of deep connection, and we are proud to welcome them across our boutique fleet and at Explorers House.” 

A dedicated Leica corner will be available onboard and at Explorers House to showcase equipment chosen for expedition travel and wildlife observation, with select pieces available to purchase.
