The Adora Magic City set sail from Shekou Cruise Homeport in Shenzhen on August 13, marking the ship’s first international cruise in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The five-day sailing headed to Vietnam.

The deployment comes as Adora continues its expansion in southern China, with the Adora Flora City scheduled for delivery on November 6, ahead of its maiden voyage from Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Homeport on November 22.

Shenzhen welcomed the departure with a traditional water salute ceremony. Following the ship’s arrival, the captain of Adora Magic City and a representative of Shenzhen Shekou International Cruise Homeport exchanged commemorative plaques symbolizing the maiden voyage.

The Shenzhen season will run through September 16, during which the Adora Magic City will operate international voyages including regular five- and six-day itineraries to Vietnam and Korea.

A highlight of the season is the nine-day “Maritime Silk Road Discovery” voyage departing August 27, calling at Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Muara in Brunei and Nha Trang in Vietnam.
