TUI Cruises will offer its “Wine & Culture” program onboard Mein Schiff Flow, according to a statement.
Starting next year, guests will be able to experience the program combining exclusive wine tastings, opera performances and a wine and culture dinner.
In collaboration with the Skoff winery, the program is planned to continue for six years onboard the recently christened Mein Schiff Flow.
It will be hosted by Walter Skoff, winemaker and fourth-generation head of the Styrian family winery Skoff Original, and his wife Eva Skoff-Liebau, Austrian opera singer and trained sommelier.
Guests will experience a guided wine tasting with Skoff during the “Highlights of the Western Mediterranean” cruise in March 2027. Skoff will offer insights into the origin, style and philosophy of his wines.
Another highlight is the Wine & Culture Dinner, combining dining with personal stories, with Skoff-Liebau performing an opera concert in the theater.
Over the next six years of collaboration, guests can expect a new culinary experience on every voyage, TUI added.
The wine series will build upon the collaboration for L’aria Sauvignon Blanc Ried Oberkranachberg Südsteiermark DAC, a wine first presented onboard Mein Schiff 7 in February.
The wine’s label features a QR code that leads to an aria sung by Eva Skoff-Liebau.
Over the course of the program, six limited-edition Sauvignon Blancs from the Oberkranachberg vineyard will be available onboard, from 2024 to 2029 vintages.
Only 1,700 bottles of each vintage will be produced, 600 of which are reserved for sale onboard the Mein Schiff fleet.
In the program’s sixth year, Skoff-Liebau will sing all six arias at a concert where they will be presented alongside their corresponding wines.
All six vintages will also be available for purchase in a limited edition.
The program can be experienced on the nine-night “Highlights of the Western Mediterranean” cruise.
Sailing roundtrip from Palma de Mallorca March 22-31, 2027, the cruise visits western Mediterranean destinations, such as Barcelona, Spain; La Spezia, Italy; Ajaccio, Corsica, France; and Civitavecchia, Italy.
Prices start at €1,719 per person in a balcony cabin and €1,399 per person in an inside cabin, both based on double occupancy in the PRO fare with Mein Schiff Premium inclusive services (including a €130 early booking discount for bookings made by July 31, 2026).
