Royal Caribbean Shortens Allure 2027 Sailing

Allure of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has cut short the itinerary of a cruise that is scheduled to take place onboard the Allure of the Seas on January 10, 2027.

According to a statement sent to booked guests, the Oasis-class vessel will now offer a four-night voyage instead of a five-night itinerary.

Initially set to make visits to Mexico and the Bahamas, the cruise has dropped a visit to Nassau and will now sail only to Cozumel after departing from PortMiami.

Royal Caribbean explained that the change was necessary due to its ongoing itinerary planning process, noting that it “sometimes requires flexibility due to scheduling, port agreements or operational needs.”

“We know how much effort goes into planning your vacation and apologize for the inconvenience,” the company added.

Passengers are being offered options that include keeping their reservations for the new itinerary, which will sail from South Florida on the same day.

The company said that in this case cruise fares will be adjusted to the new cruise fare or prorated for the change in sailing nights, whichever results in a lesser fare.

Any overage will be refunded to the original form of payment, Royal Caribbean added, noting that the offer is only valid for the cruise fare and does not apply to non-fare items, including taxes, fees and gratuities.

Royal Caribbean is also allowing guests to move their reservations to other sailings onboard the Allure of the Seas, including short cruises scheduled to depart from PortMiami in late January and early February 2027.

These passengers will be moved to a like-for-like stateroom, with their cruise fares either protected to the new cruise fare or prorated for the change in sailing nights, whichever results in a lesser fare.

Any overage will be refunded to the original form of payment, the company said, adding that the offer does not apply to non-fare items, including taxes, fees and gratuities.

The company will also reimburse any non-refundable, pre-purchased transportation fees incurred, such as flights, train tickets and rental cars.

Passengers will receive up to $200 per person for domestic changes or up to $400 per person for international travel.

Other options include rebooking at any other Royal Caribbean sailing at the prevailing rates or getting a full refund of the cruise fare.
