Ponant Explorations has announced that it is offering more than 150 departures across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Atlantic Islands from October 2027 through November 2028, which are now available for booking.
The collection features more than 80 Mediterranean sailings, voyages through Northern Europe and the British Isles, and Atlantic island Itineraries, including Cape Verde, the Azores and Madeira.
Atlantic Coasts & Islands | October 2027-October 2028
Ponant said in a press release that it will sail to the Atlantic archipelagos – including the Canary Islands, Madeira, Cape Verde and the Azores – as well as along the Atlantic coasts of Portugal, Spain and France.
Every voyage includes one excursion per guest at each port of call, with experiences ranging from cultural tours and scenic hikes to cycling excursions and local tastings.
Highlights:
- Two itineraries dedicated to the Azores in July 2028
- Four Cape Verde voyages aboard Le Ponant in October and November 2027
- A wine-focused voyage from Lisbon to Bordeaux in May 2028, including optional exclusive visits to caviar house Prunier and Château Latour, featuring private tours and tastings, and
- Volcanic landscapes, valleys and colonial towns, whale watching in the Azores, cultural treasures of Santiago de Compostela, the Basque Country, Quiberon and Roscoff.
Northern Europe | February-August 2028
Ponant will offer voyages throughout the British Isles, Norwegian fjords and the Baltic Sea, including two itineraries featuring the Faroe Islands.
Each itinerary combines scenery with cultural experiences, from the landscapes of Scotland and Ireland to Norway’s UNESCO-listed fjords and the historic capitals of the Baltic.
Highlights:
- The Celtic landscapes of Scotland, Ireland, the Hebrides and Orkney Islands.
- Cruising through Norway’s fjords, including UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord
- Bergen’s historic Bryggen district, and
- Baltic capitals including Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Tallinn, along with Hanseatic ports and the medieval town of Visby.
The Mediterranean | March-November 2028
The collection will offer more than 80 departures spanning the Adriatic, Aegean and Tyrrhenian seas, as well as Corsica, Malta, Sicily and the Iberian Peninsula.
The itineraries combine calls at lesser-visited ports with convenient embarkation from gateway cities including Athens, Nice, Valletta, Dubrovnik and Venice.
Every voyage includes one excursion per guest at each port of call.
Highlights:
- Fourteen “Kid Explorers” family-friendly departures featuring workshops and activities for children ages 4-13.
- A selection of six-day getaways, and
- Themed voyages developed in partnership with Smithsonian Journeys, Ducasse Paris, Club des Chefs des Chefs and the Opéra National de Paris.
