Celestyal has announced that its chief commercial officer, Lee Haslett, will be leaving his role at the cruise line.
He will stay with the company until October 2026 to support a smooth transition while the cruise line is looking for his successor, according to a press release.
“Over the past three and a half years, Lee has made a significant contribution to Celestyal’s transformation journey, and I would like to thank him for everything he has brought to the business,” said Chris Theophilides, chief executive officer of Celestyal.
“His leadership, commercial insight and relentless focus on growth have helped strengthen our commercial organization, with a strong team in place to continue the successful growth of the business.”
During his time with Celestyal, the company has relaunched its brand, welcomed two new vessels to the fleet and expanded its itineraries beyond Greece, noted Theophilides.
Haslett is set to take up a senior commercial leadership opportunity at what the cruise line described as one of the world’s leading sports organizations.
“It has been an incredible privilege to be part of Celestyal’s journey over the past three and a half years. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to Chris, the leadership team, and all of my colleagues for their support, friendship and ambition,” noted Haslett.
“Whilst this was a difficult decision, the opportunity to join a globally recognized sporting institution at such an exciting time in its journey was one that I felt I could not pass up. I leave with enormous confidence in Celestyal’s future and look forward to following its continued success.”
