Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is introducing an exclusive new concert format for its cruises, Curated Concerts, combining classical music with destinations along the cruise itinerary.
Musicians Alexander Krichel, David Orlowsky and Shira Patchornik will act as hosts and curate their own personal concert cruises aboard the Europa and Europa 2 in 2027.
The artists will develop the musical concept together with their artistic partners, giving each program a distinctive identity.
Each journey will combine two concerts onboard with an evening concert on land.
Curated Concerts by Alexander Krichel
In this program, multiple-award-winning pianist Alexander Krichel and actor Sabin Tambrea explore the melodrama from a new perspective, combining music and spoken text.
The onshore highlight is the concert at the Eric Ericson Hall in Stockholm.
