Emerald Cruises & Tours has unveiled two new 13-Day Seychelles & Indian Ocean Adventure sailings aboard the Emerald Kaia, launching exclusively for November 2026.
According to Ken Muskat, president of Scenic Group USA & LATAM, luxury travelers are looking beyond the familiar and seeking destinations that remain authentic, remote and genuinely transformative.
“The Seychelles represents one of the last truly untouched frontiers in luxury travel,” said Muskat. “These new voyages aboard the Emerald Kaia offer guests the opportunity to discover extraordinary islands, remarkable wildlife and vibrant East African cultures while enjoying the intimacy, comfort and personalized service that define our luxury yacht experience.”
“One of the greatest advantages of traveling aboard the Emerald Kaia is access,” Robert Castro, VP of marketing for Scenic Group USA & LATAM, added. “Our luxury yachts can reach secluded islands and intimate ports that simply aren’t accessible to larger ships, allowing guests to experience these remarkable destinations in a far more meaningful and immersive way.”
“Luxury today is as much about discovery as it is about comfort,” Muskat said. “These voyages deliver both. Guests can experience incredible wildlife, fascinating cultures and some of the most pristine islands on Earth before returning each evening to the elegance and contemporary luxury of Emerald Kaia. It’s an experience unlike anything else we offer.”
The company said in a press release that guests will sail between Mahé, Seychelles, and Mombasa, Kenya, discovering destinations including Mahé, La Digue, Praslin, Farquhar Atoll, Aldabra Atoll, Kilwa Kisiwani, Mafia Island, Zanzibar and Mombasa.
Throughout the voyage, travelers will experience:
- Remote tropical islands
- UNESCO World Heritage Sites
- East African history and culture
- Coral reefs and rare wildlife
- Lagoons and beaches, and
- Indian Ocean biodiversity.
The 2026 “Seychelles & Indian Ocean Adventure” sailings will embark on November 17, 2026 (Mahé to Mombasa) and November 29, 2026 (Mombasa to Mahé).
According to the press release, the Emerald Kaia accommodates 128 guests and offers other highlights including airport transfers, all gratuities, a premium drinks package and a selection of included excursions.
The launch of the Emerald Kaia in the Mediterranean and the Emerald Astra on Europe’s waterways will be followed by a new Emerald Star‑Ship planned for northern France.
This is alongside two additional yachts, including Emerald Raiya, launching in 2027 and Emerald Xara, set to sail in Asia and the Kimberleys from 2028.
