Century Cruises has announced the Century Vision, a new ship offering Yangtze River cruises.
Launching on its maiden voyage on September 21, 2026, the ship will operate Century Cruises’ four-day itinerary between Chongqing and Yichang, according to a company statement.
The 15,000-ton Century Vision will be able to accommodate up to 650 guests in 236 cabins.
“Today’s travelers are seeking journeys that inspire, educate, and create lasting memories, and Century Vision delivers that experience unlike any other on the Yangtze River,” said David Fredericks, president & general manager, The Americas, Century Cruises
“We are incredibly proud to introduce this extraordinary vessel to our valued travel advisor partners and guests throughout North America while continuing to strengthen Century Cruises’ position as one of the world’s premier luxury river cruise brands.”
Fredericks added that as his company prepares for expansion into Europe in 2026 and Egypt in 2027, the upcoming ship represents the future of cruising on the Yangtze, but also the future of his company.
Onboard, guests will be able to enjoy Chinese and international cuisine in one of the three restaurants.
The ship will feature a Digital Museum Zone onboard, an interactive digital library allowing guests to explore China’s history, culture and heritage.

There will also be a library and a dedicated photography studio on deck 4, as well as a spa and fitness center and a 360-degree panoramic sun deck.

Guests will be able to take part in onboard lectures, cooking demonstrations, tai chi sessions and introductory Mandarin language lessons for deeper cultural immersion.
For guests wishing to maintain their wellness routine, the Century Vision features a modern fitness center and luxurious spa.
