Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas recently kicked off a year-round cruise schedule out of the port of Tampa.

After completing a winter season offering short cruises to the Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale, the 90,000-ton ship is now operating four- and five-night voyages to the Western Caribbean.

In addition to one or two full days of cruising, the itineraries feature visits to destinations in Mexico, including Costa Maya and Cozumel.

The short cruises will be offered through early November, when the Radiance switches to weeklong itineraries that visit further destinations in the Western Caribbean.

Sailing to Mexico, the Cayman Islands, Belize and Honduras, the longer sailings feature visits to ports like George Town, Belize City, Cozumel and Roatán.

The Radiance will also celebrate Christmas at sea with a special seven-night cruise to Mexico and the Bahamas that is highlighted by a visit to Royal Caribbean’s private island destination of Perfect Day at CocoCay.

In early 2027, the ship’s deployment will be further diversified with the addition of a mix of six- to eight-night itineraries to the Western Caribbean.

The 2,142-passenger ship will then resume its series of four- and five-night cruises to Cozumel and Costa Maya next May.

Continuing its year-round deployment from Tampa, the vessel is scheduled to offer similar itineraries through at least late April 2028.

The Radiance of the Seas was built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany and recently celebrated its 25th year of service.

Earlier this year, the vessel underwent a refurbishment at a shipyard in Grand Bahama, including technical work and routine maintenance.

In addition to the Radiance, two other Royal Caribbean ships are sailing from Tampa this year: the Enchantment of the Seas and the Jewel of the Seas.

While the Enchantment is also sailing year-round from the homeport in the Gulf, the Jewel is scheduled to arrive for the 2026-27 winter season.
