Every match of the FIFA World Cup 26, as well as The Open Championship and Wimbledon, will be broadcast onboard P&O Cruises and Cunard cruises this summer, according to a statement. 

From June 11 to July 19, 2026, all 104 FIFA World Cup matches will be available across the two brands’ fleets. 

Furthermore, Wimbledon coverage will run throughout the tournament’s duration from 29 June, while the golf championship will also be screened live. 

The matches will be shown live on Sport 24 Special Event Channels. 

“The FIFA World Cup is an iconic global event, and adding Wimbledon and The Open Championship makes this an extraordinary summer of sport at sea,” said Paul Ludlow, Carnival UK & P&O Cruises president. 

“Whether guests are sailing the Mediterranean, exploring the Norwegian fjords or enjoying a short break closer to home, they can stay connected to the moments that matter so much. In combining unforgettable holidays with the shared thrill of live sport, we’re bringing people together, delivering the comfort, quality and thoughtful touches that our brands are known for.” 

In addition to their own cabins and staterooms, guests will be able to watch matches at venues such as Brodie’s bar on P&O Cruises or the Golden Lion pub on Cunard vessels.  

Additionally, England and Scotland matches as well as the Wimbledon finals will be shown in larger venues such as SkyDome on P&O Cruises and The Pavilion on Cunard. 

This was made possible thanks to an extended agreement with global sports marketing agency, IMG, according to the statement. 

IMG’s commercial director Kate Garden added that the three events represent the very best of global sport, which is why her company is delighted to support the two brands in delivering what she described as an exceptional viewing experience for guests.
