The Kai Tak Cruise Terminal (KTCT), operated and managed by Worldwide Cruise Terminals (WCT), has been awarded the Muslim-friendly Transport Hub of the Year at the Halal in Travel Awards 2026.
Anna Hong, managing director for WCT, said: “We are grateful to have received the Muslim-friendly Transport Hub of the Year Award and to be recognized for setting a new standard for Muslim-friendly transport infrastructure in Asia.”
“The terminal provides dedicated prayer rooms, halal dining options and carefully considered amenities for Muslim passengers and visitors, ensuring that the journey through Hong Kong’s iconic waterfront gateway is as welcoming as the destination itself,” Hong added.
“KTCT’s commitment to inclusivity reflects Hong Kong’s broader ambition to be a truly world-class Muslim-friendly destination.”
The awards were held at the sixth Halal In Travel Global Summit in Singapore on June 18, 2026. Earlier in the year, the terminal was also awarded the Gold rating by CrescentRating.
