Hapag-Lloyd Bringing Back ‘Gatsby Nights at Sea’ Cruise in 2027

Gatsby at sea

The “Gatsby Nights at sea” short cruise along the Cote d’Azur is returning to Hapag-Llyod’s Europa.

Following what the cruise line said was a successful 2026 launch and enthusiastic guest feedback, the short cruise “Savoir vivre on the Cote d’Azur – with Gatsby Nights at sea” will be back May 27–31, 2027.

“Our guests’ response to this special cruise was simply overwhelming – from the unique atmosphere on board to the perfect combination of destination, theme and experience,” said Lisa Wilken, head of luxury at Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

“It was clear just how much these days inspired them. We are therefore all the more delighted to be able to offer this special format again next year and build on the success we have enjoyed so far.”

The four-day cruise will take guests along the Cote d’Azur and the Italian Riviera, sailing roundtrip from Nice and visiting destinations such as Portofino, St. Tropez and Saint-Florent on Corsica, as well as Cannes.

Guests can look forward to a modern interpretation of the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, complete with feathers, pearls and champagne as the deck 4 of the Europa is transformed into an exclusive Gatsby-era club for one evening.

Entertainment will also be specifically tailored to the route and theme, with music, design and cuisine making the immersive experience complete.
