Celebrity Cruises achieved a milestone by winning 25 Wine Spectator Awards for 2026, the most it has ever received.
The brand received 17 “Best of Award of Excellence” honors for the first time, alongside eight “Award of Excellence” recognitions.
In a press release, the cruise line said that this brings the tally to 165 awards over 14 consecutive years, making its wine program the most awarded at sea.
“Celebrity Cruises constantly redefines the possibilities of food and beverage at sea, and this industry-leading recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Jan Sorensen, Celebrity Cruises’ vice president of food and beverage operations.
“With up to 32 food and beverage venues onboard, we offer something for every guest’s preference, while providing authentic, globally inspired experiences like no other.”
The awards span Celebrity Cruises’ Edge Series, Solstice Series and Millennium Series ships, including restaurants such as Tuscan (Celebrity Xcel, Ascent, Beyond), Cyprus (Celebrity Apex), Grand Cuvée (Celebrity Silhouette) and more.
Two new venues were recognized for the first time: Trattoria Rossa, which debuted with the upgraded Celebrity Solstice in March 2026 and Mosaic on the Celebrity Xcel, which set sail in November 2025.
Also recognized was Le Voyage. This exclusive restaurant by chef Daniel Boulud recently became the first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rated restaurant at sea.
Celebrity noted that all its ships carry a wide wine selection and offer a variety of wine-focused programming.
A trained sommelier is present in every restaurant to guide guests through the more than 500 wine selections onboard, combining famous brands as well as Celebrity’s own private labels.
Wine lovers can also take part in Food and Wine Pairing Workshops and World Wine Tours.
