Atlas Ocean Voyages is looking for office space to house its new headquarters in Florida, according to Mário Ferreira, CEO of the brand’s parent company, Mystic Cruises.

In a recent social media update, Ferreira revealed that the company recently inspected a historical building in Fort Lauderdale.

“We are looking for a new property to move our headquarters, which is undergoing an expansion,” he said.

Ferreira was onsite to inspect what he called a recently renovated 100-year-old art deco building in South Florida.

Atlas Ocean is expanding its fleet with the addition of a fourth ship, the Atlas Adventurer, planned for late 2028.

Announced earlier this year, the new 400-passenger vessel is set to be built at the China Merchants shipyard.

As the brand’s first upscale luxury sailing ship, the Adventurer is highlighted by sustainable features, including the ability to generate energy while sailing.

Set to become the largest vessel in the company’s fleet, the ship will also offer enhanced public areas, including seven dining venues, five bars and a large swimming pool.

Upon entering service ahead of the 2028-29 winter season, the Adventurer will offer a series of cruises to destinations in Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean.

The ship’s inaugural season is marked by firsts to Atlas Ocean, including the introduction of new destinations in Southeast Asia and Eastern Africa.

Launched in 2019, Atlas Ocean currently operates a trio of 200-passenger expedition ships, the World Voyager, the World Navigator and the World Traveller.

The vessels offer a series of itineraries in polar regions, as well as in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America and the Caribbean.

In related news, the company will charter the World Voyager to Quark Expeditions on a seasonal basis starting later this year.

In addition to sailing for Atlas Ocean during summers, the 2020-built vessel will operate winter seasons in Antarctica for the U.S.-based expedition operator.
