The Aroya sailed from Istanbul on Saturday for Aroya Cruises’ first cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey in 2026.
After repositioning to the Eastern Mediterranean earlier this month, the vessel has been offering itineraries to Turkey and Egypt.
Sailing roundtrip from the Galataport Cruise Terminal, the first sailing to Greece features visits to four ports.
In addition to Bodrum, in the Turkish Riviera, the Aroya is scheduled to sail to Rhodes, Mykonos and Piraeus.
The cruise is highlighted by longer visits to most of the destinations, with departures taking place between 10 PM and 11 PM.
The Aroya is scheduled to continue to sail in the Eastern Mediterranean through late September, when the vessel repositions back to the Red Sea.
As part of its season in the region, the 2017-built ship is also offering a second seven-night itinerary, which sails to Egypt and Turkey.
Designed for a visa-free experience for various markets, the cruise does not sail to the Schengen area, visiting instead the ports of Kas, Marmaris, Bodrum and Alexandria.
The itinerary also allows passengers to board the ship at the Egyptian port on select dates, offering roundtrip cruises from Alexandria.
After completing its summer season in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Aroya will offer a repositioning voyage to Jeddah in mid-September ahead of a winter season in the Red Sea.
The eight-night itinerary sails to Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, with planned visits to Bodrum, Marmaris, Port Suez and Sharm El Sheikh.
The vessel then kicks off a series of two- to five-night cruises to destinations in the Red Sea, including Cruise Saudi’s private island destination of Jabal Al-Sabaya.
Other ports set to be visited include Aqaba in Jordan, Yanbu in Saudi Arabia and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
The Aroya is scheduled to return to the Mediterranean for its third consecutive summer season starting in June 2027.
