AIDA Cruises will again be the event sponsor for Kiel Week in 2026, which will run from June 20-28, 2026.
The company said in a press release that the AIDAnova will call on the port of Kiel during the week on June 20 and 27, and that the AIDAbella will call on June 21. The AIDAbella’s departure from the Kiel Fjord on June 21 will mark AIDA’s 30th birthday, and her departure will feature special effects.
AIDA’s production “Between Sky and Sea” will include a drone and laser show.
The company added that new in 2026 is its expanded food and beverage offering: Visitors can enjoy selected AIDA signature drinks (with or without alcohol) and “kissing mouth” waffles.
A mascot parade will take place on June 27 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, featuring well-known mascots from the region that will be introduced on stage. The route starts at the sailing camp at the keel line and finishes at the RSH-Fördebühne (Bernhardt-Harms-Parkplatz).
Interactive activities will be positioned along the parade route, including:
- A high-five zone
- A dance battle
- A slow-motion parade, and
- Designated photo spots.
Following the parade, families and children are invited to attend a Meet-and-Greet from 4:15 PM to 4:45 PM.
