AIDA Cruises will not offer winter 2027-28 itineraries in the Middle East, the company said in a statement.
AIDA noted that this early decision was made to offer planning security to guests and sales partners since the situation in the region cannot be reliably assessed.
Affected guests whose winter 2027-28 cruises in the region were canceled will get a voucher for ten percent off for the previous cabin price for a new booking made by December 31, 2026.
AIDA suggested several alternatives, such as its cruises to the Caribbean, the Canary Islands or Northern Europe.
From Hamburg, guests will be able to sail to Norway, the Benelux countries or along the Atlantic coast to the Canary Islands.
The AIDAperla will sail to Northern Europe from Kiel and short trips to Scandinavia from Warnemünde will also be available.
Detailed information on new itineraries will be available from the end of July, when new trips will open for booking, the cruise line added.
Earlier this year, AIDA canceled its winter 2026-27 season in the region, replacing it with European itineraries from Kiel aboard the AIDAprima.
