Adora Magic City Completes First Sailing with No Ports

Adora Magic City at Shanghai Cruise Port 2026

The Adora Magic City has completed a roundtrip Shanghai sailing without any port calls, offering a quick getaway experience.

The ship departed Shanghai on Saturday, launching the three-day weekend cruise that was themed around a sea carnival. This voyage had no port of call, and that it had given more Chinese consumers the opportunity to board on a weekend without taking leave.

The company said in a press release that the voyage aimed to explore a new path for the industry and to provide guests with a more relaxed, convenient and comfortable way to travel and vacation on weekends.

Adora Cruises said it hopes to make the cruise itself the destination and is willing to explore more possibilities in China’s cruise tourism market, while further enriching product supply in China’s cruise market, injecting strong momentum into new cruise consumption.

At the same time, Adora announced that three new cruises without port calls will depart from Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Port this December. The cruises will be offered on December 11, 18, and 25, 2026.

Starting June 9, 2026, guests can book tickets through the official website or WeChat mini-program or contact the customer service center.
