Delivered to Royal Caribbean earlier this month, the new Legend of the Seas is scheduled to enter service in early July.

First Cruise
Date: July 4, 2026
Length: Seven nights
Homeport: Civitavecchia (Italy)
Itinerary: La Spezia (Italy); Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona (Spain); and Marseille (France)

The Legend of the Seas will enter service in early July with a seven-night cruise in the Western Mediterranean that will sail to Italy, Spain and France.

Added to the ship’s schedule earlier this year, the itinerary features visits to the ports of La Spezia, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona and Marseille.

Rome to Barcelona
Date: July 25, 2026
Length: Eight nights
Homeports: Civitavecchia (Italy) to Barcelona (Spain)
Itinerary: La Spezia and Naples (Italy); Palma de Mallorca and Málaga (Spain)

After operating three seven-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean, the Legend of the Seas will offer a slightly longer itinerary in the region in late July.

The cruise sails from Civitavecchia, the port for Rome, before ending in Barcelona. Highlights of the itinerary include visits to Málaga and Naples, in addition to Palma de Mallorca and La Spezia.

Mediterranean with Naples and Marseille

Following its initial sailings in the region in July, the Legend of the Seas will continue to offer similar cruises in the Western Mediterranean through late October 2026.

One of the more common cruises allows guests to board in Civitavecchia and Barcelona, sailing to Italy, Spain and France. In addition to the two homeports, the cruise features visits to Palma de Mallorca, La Spezia, Naples and Marseille.

First Trans-Atlantic Crossing
Date: October 25, 2026
Length: 13 nights
Homeports: Barcelona (Spain) to Fort Lauderdale (United States)
Itinerary: Palma de Mallorca, Málaga and Cádiz (Spain)

Upon completing its inaugural season in Europe, the Legend of the Seas will embark on a repositioning voyage to North America that sails between Barcelona and Fort Lauderdale.

The 13-night repositioning voyage features numerous days at sea, in addition to visits to three Spanish ports: Palma de Mallorca, Málaga and Cádiz.

Southern Caribbean Debut
Date: November 14, 2026
Length: Eight nights
Homeport: Fort Lauderdale (United States)
Itinerary: Oranjestad (Aruba); Willemstad (Curaçao); and Perfect Day at CocoCay (Bahamas)

Following a series of pre-inaugural short cruises, the Legend of the Seas officially kicks off its maiden season in North America with an eight-night voyage to the Southern Caribbean.

The cruise sails roundtrip from the ship’s homeport in Port Everglades and features stops in Aruba and Curaçao, as well as Royal Caribbean’s private destination in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Western Caribbean Debut
Date: November 22, 2026
Length: Six nights
Homeport: Fort Lauderdale (United States)
Itinerary: Cozumel and Costa Maya (Mexico); Perfect Day at CocoCay (Bahamas)

Soon after completing its first cruise to the Southern Caribbean, the Icon-class ship offers its first sailing to the Western Caribbean.

Sailing to destinations in Mexico and the Bahamas, the six-night itinerary is highlighted by visits to Cozumel, Costa Maya and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
