TUI Cruises has created a Kids Club character specifically for Mein Schiff Flow, its next InTUItion-class ship.
Named after its fins, the character of Finni was developed to support the ship’s family program.
The expansion of family offering aims to further enhance and enrich the family experience onboard the latest addition to its fleet, TUI said in a press release.
“With Finni, every moment becomes an adventure, from exciting journeys around the world to lively family discos and fascinating quiz moments full of curious facts. With our new program elements, we want to create unforgettable experiences for the whole family,” said Patrick Zils, hotel operations manager – family services.
The new family program includes a family game show, a family disco with Finni as a DJ and an interactive treasure hunt, the company added.
Finni will also present his own song and invite guests to dance and sing along, and accompanying Finni merchandise will be available exclusively on Mein Schiff Flow.
“With Finni, we are creating a dedicated character for our family program for the first time in TUI Cruises’ history,” added Christin Boos, head of hotel operations. “We are delighted to introduce Finni to guests of Mein Schiff Flow from the very first welcome cruise and are very excited to see how he is received, especially by our younger guests.”
The christening ceremony for Mein Schiff Flow will take place on June 20 at the port of Trieste, with the christening program featuring live acts, music and art performances.
The ship was originally scheduled to sail in the Arabian Gulf, but it will move to sail from German homeports for the winter instead due to the geopolitical situation.
