Tallink Silja Line has announced its new exclusive private label collection of wines and beers, the company said in a press release.
“The tradition of selecting Tallink Silja Line’s ship wines and beers reaches back decades,” said Aimar Pärna, head of Tallink Duty Free.
“Every two years, new signature drinks are carefully chosen to reflect evolving guest preferences, culinary trends and the highest standards of quality.”
The new selection will be available onboard the vessels, as well as in hotels, restaurants and in the web shop from May 2026 until April 2028.
The wines and beers were chosen as a result of international competition and a blind tasting process.
The selection was made by the company’s panel of experts, including sommeliers, wine and beer experts and both onshore and onboard restaurant managers.
During the ship’s wine selection process, the company said wines’ origin, grape variety, price, sustainability and taste profile are taken into account.
Tallink Silja Line’s ship sommeliers and onboard wine experts evaluated around 150 wines.
The collection includes champagne, prosecco, white, rosé and red wine from producers in France, Italy and Spain, each bottled and labeled exclusively for Tallink Silja Line.
For the official ship’s beer selection, one premium lager and one premium porter were selected following a blind tasting process from 37 submitted craft beers by breweries in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Estonia.
All of the 2026-2028 selection wines and beers are sustainably produced and vegan, the company said.
