StarCruises’ latest culinary-themed sailing featuring celebrity chef Datuk Chef Wan aboard the Star Voyager has concluded, offering guests a curated cruise experience during the recent school holiday season.
The three-night cruise from Port Klang to Phuket and Penang, scheduled for May 22-25, 2026, was developed in collaboration with De.Wan 1958.
The cruise featured onboard experiences including live cooking demonstrations, specially curated dining offerings and interactive guest engagements.
Among the highlights were Datuk Chef Wan’s live cooking demonstration and personal appearances throughout the cruise.
The company said in a press release that the final evening was held at The Lido, the Star Voyager’s inclusive dining venue featuring a dedicated certified Halal section, where guests enjoyed Datuk Chef Wan’s specially curated dishes following his live demonstration.
“We are very pleased with the enthusiastic response to Chef Wan’s return onboard the Star Voyager,” said Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises.
“We were delighted to welcome Chef Wan back for this special school holiday sailing from Port Klang. Culinary experiences have become an increasingly important part of travel, and this collaboration reflects our commitment to creating immersive and memorable holidays that bring people together through food, culture and shared experiences,” Goh added.
Following the positive response to this themed sailing, StarCruises said it will continue its expanded deployment from the Singapore Cruise Center from May 31 to June 26, 2026.
