Riviera Travel has revealed its incentives for Travel Advisor Appreciation Month in May. 

The incentives include a chance to win a ticket for the 2027 ASTA River Cruise Expo and gift cards on bookings, according to a statement. 

“Our company and industry as a unit could not excel without the support of our travel advisor community,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America at Riviera Travel. 

“During the month of May, we’re excited to celebrate our advisor partners, who have undoubtedly been a driving force in our growth throughout the North American market. With ASTA being the river cruise industry’s premiere event, we’re eager to provide this opportunity for learning and connection to one lucky winner.” 

The first incentive runs May 1–31, 2026, and is open to active, registered U.S. and Canadian travel advisors. 

Every paid deposit on a 2026 or 2027 Riviera river cruise, yacht cruise or grand tour earns one entry into the prize draw for the 2027 ASTA River Cruise Expo, with Riviera Explorer graduates receiving double entries.

The winner will get a VIP experience at the Expo – featuring a conference ticket, deluxe balcony cabin and round-trip airfare.

Taking place March 10–14, 2027, in Vienna, Austria, the Expo is expected to draw approximately 1,500 U.S.-based advisors. 

As part of the second incentive, advisors can earn a $75 gift card for every new booking made between May 4–31, 2026. 

Additionally, the advisor who books the highest number of passengers during the incentive period gets a $3,000 bonus prize.

To qualify for rewards, participants must complete the Riviera Explorer training program before the promotion ends.

In addition to advisors, May brings deals for travelers too – up to 50 percent off on 2026 and 2027 departures, up to $1,500 in airfare and hotel credits and an additional $250 per person off on 2026 sailings.

The cruise line kicked off its 2026 river cruise season in late March, with just under 200 departures planned.
