Mein Schiff 3 is back from its two-week stay in Rotterdam at Damen.
The newly refurbished ship is now setting course for Norwegian itineraries departing from Bremerhaven.
The drydock focused on improving the onboard guest experience, TUI Cruises said in a press release.
The ship’s two themed suites, the Godparent Suite and the Captain’s Suite, were modernized, as were the public spaces, such as the Diamond Bar, as well as the Café Lounge, which features an all-day breakfast.
Around 12,500 square meters of carpet was replaced in various areas of the ship, part of which is being processed into recycled underlay, which can then be reused onboard.
TUI said it updated onboard artwork across the ship.
In addition were entertainment updates. The speaker management systems were modernized to improve sound quality, while the broadcast and satellite technology were serviced to ensure a better viewing experience.
The theater saw the addition of a new high-resolution LED wall and LED moving lights, which are expected to improve the quality of shows and productions onboard.
The 2,500-guest Mein Schiff 3 is TUI’s first-ever newbuild. It completed 10 years of service in 2024.
