The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise recently arrived in Cozumel for the first time, according to an update shared by the company.
Sailing from its homeport at the Port of Palm Beach, the 1991-built vessel made its maiden visit to the Mexican port on May 5, 2026.
The inaugural call was part of the ship’s “Cozumel Express” itinerary, which departed from Palm Beach on May 3, 2026.
Sailing roundtrip from Palm Beach, the cruise included a visit to Cozumel, in addition to two days of cruising in the Caribbean.
Originally built for Costa Cruises, the Paradise has been offering short cruises to the Bahamas since being sold to Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line in 2018.
Sailing from the company’s cruise terminal in Riviera Beach, the vessel initially offered two-night sailings to Freeport.
With the brand becoming Margaritaville at Sea in early 2022, the former Costa Classica started to offer a wider choice of itineraries, including a series of three-night weekend cruises and four-night week trips.
The new itineraries also included visits to more destinations, such as Key West in Florida and Nassau in the Bahamas.
In a further expansion of its deployment, Margaritaville at Sea added four- and five-night cruises to the Caribbean to the ship’s lineup in 2026.
Following its first cruise to Cozumel, the Paradise is scheduled to offer longer itineraries to the region in early 2027.
Highlights include a five-night cruise to Grand Turk and Nassau with departures scheduled for January and February.
The schedule also features five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic visiting Puerto Plata and Nassau, as well as five-night cruises to Cozumel and Key West.
In addition to introducing new itineraries, Margaritaville at Sea is also debuting a new ship in early 2027 with the Beachcomber.
Taking over the title of largest ship in the company’s fleet, the 103,000-ton ship is scheduled to start service from PortMiami in January.
