Heritage Expeditions’ Japan voyages will be featured on Australian travel show Travel Oz Global, the company said in a press release.
Premiering on Channel 10 at 9:30am (AEST), Sunday, May 17, season 8 episode 5, “Japan By Sea,” will star operations director and expedition leader Nathan Russ, alongside travel writer Susan Elliott.
Sailing aboard the Heritage Adventurer, they explore destinations such as Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Nagoya, Owase, Kochi, Shikoku Island, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, and Busan in South Korea during Sakura or Cherry Blossom season.
“Travel Oz Global showcases some of the world’s best travel destinations and experiences, and perfectly reflects our incredible Japan voyages. People don’t necessarily think of Japan as an expedition cruise destination, but Japan has some 6,852 islands – most of them wild and remote,” said Russ.
“Mix this with its futuristic cities, iconic gardens, wilderness and wildlife, ancient traditions, history and world-renowned cuisine all delivered in Heritage Expeditions unique style, and you have an incredible expedition cruise experience.”
