Hapag-Lloyd Adds Two New Great Lakes Itineraries to 2027 Program

Hapag-Lloyd Great Lakes

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has added two new longer itineraries to its 2027 Great Lakes program.

In a press release, the cruise line said the itineraries aboard the Hanseatic inspiration will replace three previously planned shorter cruises, for a total of four Great Lake voyages.

The new cruises will allow guests to experience all five Great Lakes together with the St. Lawrence River for what the company says is the first time.

The two new 21-day voyages are:

  • Milwaukee to Halifax: Aug 20 – 10 Sep 10, 2027
  • Halifax to Milwaukee: Sep 10 – Oct 1, 2027

Hapag-Lloyd added that the new routes were created in response to strong demand for more in-depth Great Lakes expeditions.

Highlights of the new itineraries include visits to Lake Superior, Georgian Bay, Toronto and Niagara Falls, as well as Montreal and Quebec.

There is also Tadoussac, where guests can spot belugas and humpback whales where the Saguenay Fjord meets the St. Lawrence River.

Fares start from €15,490 per person based on double occupancy.
