Corazul Cruceros opened bookings for its maiden season in Brazil on May 19, according to a press release issued by R11 Travel.
The Brazilian tour operator will serve as the startup’s exclusive sales partner for the market, which will welcome the Buenavista for the 2026-27 winter season.
After debuting in the Mediterranean for the summer, the 1995-built vessel is scheduled to reposition to Brazil in late October.
In early November, the former Piano Land kicks off a local deployment in Brazil that includes a series of three- to seven-night cruises to various destinations in the country.
The itineraries sail from Santos, Rio de Janeiro and Recife and include visits to a wide range of ports, including Salvador, Búzios, Balneário Camboriú and Ilhabela.
Among the highlights of the season are short cruises to Cabo Frio, a less-visited destination on Rio de Janeiro’s coast.
“The opening of Corazul’s sales represents an important step in expanding the cruise offerings in Brazil with a proposition closely aligned with the profile of the Brazilian traveler. There is a growing demand for trips that combine leisure, good gastronomy, entertainment, and more welcoming experiences for the whole family,” said Ricardo Amaral, CEO of R11 Travel.
Corazul will operate an all-inclusive system in Brazil, which includes travel insurance and most alcoholic beverages in the cruise fare.
The company said it will tweak its product for the country’s market, incorporating Portuguese as one of its main languages onboard.
Onboard programming and activities will also be aimed at Brazilian guests, adding to the startup’s Mediterranean-inspired product.
“Corazul arrives precisely with this proposal of a relaxed atmosphere, socialization and entertainment, without compromising comfort and quality of the onboard experience,” Amaral added.
Currently in service for Astro Ocean Cruises in Asia, the Buenavista is scheduled to make its debut in the Mediterranean in July.
