Atlas Ocean Voyages’ 2028 Arctic season will feature 13 journeys ranging from seven to 17 nights, the company announced in a press release.

Itineraries are offered across Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland and Eastern Canada, sailing aboard the World Navigator and World Voyager.

“Our 2028 Arctic season reflects a deliberate expansion of our Arctic expedition portfolio, offering guests more choice, more depth and more ways to explore the polar regions,” said James A. Rodriguez, President and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages.

“By focusing on Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland and Eastern Canada, we’ve created a diverse and dynamic range of itineraries spanning 7 to 17 nights, ensuring there is an Arctic experience suited to every explorer’s sense of discovery.”

The voyages offer opportunities to see wildlife including beluga whales, polar bears, Arctic foxes, seabirds and walrus colonies.

They are also designed to deliver an engaging polar experience, featuring Zodiac safaris and guided landings led by expedition teams, the company said.

In Svalbard, guests arriving in Longyearbyen can opt for the “Life in the Arctic” Atlas Immersive experience, which includes visits to the Global Seed Vault.

In Greenland, visits to remote communities such as Ittoqqortoormiit, where guests can engage with one of the most isolated Inuit populations, are available on select itineraries.

A range of new and returning Canadian Arctic expeditions exploring Disko Bay, Nunavut and Labrador, are also offered.

Example itineraries:

  • Arctic Frontier Passage (Tromsø to Longyearbyen, seven nights, departing Jun. 10, 2028)
  • Arctic Isles & Volcanic Shores (Longyearbyen to Reykjavik, 10 nights, departing Jun. 17, 2028)
  • Polar Wilderness Quest (Nuuk to Churchill, 16 nights, departing Jul. 29, 2028)
  • Fjords & Frontiers (Nuuk to St Johns, 17 nights, departing Sep. 12, 2028)

The Explorer’s Choice offer is available for these sailings, enabling Bonus Savings of up to 30 percent and a selection of one complimentary amenity – Air Credit of up to $1,500 per suite, complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi or a pre-expedition hotel stay.

Additionally, guests booking accommodations in the Reserve Collection have the option to select two amenities.
