Ambassador Cruise Line has renewed its partnership with marine conservation charity ORCA for a sixth consecutive season for 2028–29.

Two ORCA Ocean Conservationists will join each sailing to collect data to support the charity’s efforts in protecting marine animals while delivering workshops and lectures for guests onboard, during 22 no-fly itineraries between April 23, 2028, and March 29, 2029.

“We are proud to be entering a sixth year of partnership with ORCA, which continues to play an important role in how we engage our guests with the natural world,” said Christian Verhounig, CEO of Ambassador Cruise Line.

“This collaboration allows us to support meaningful scientific research while offering guests a deeper understanding of the marine environments we sail through.”

There will be 13 sailings totaling 193 days at sea aboard the Ambience and a further nine sailings, accounting for 115 days, aboard the Ambition.

Sailing from regional ports across the UK, the itineraries will cover areas said to be key for marine research including the British Isles, Iceland and the Faroes, Norway, the Mediterranean, Iberia and the Canary Islands.

Apart from this, other itineraries for Ambassador’s 2028-29 season were launched in March, with the company noting that that is the earliest season launch since 2022.
