The Brilliant Lady recently arrived at the Port of San Diego for the first time as part of Virgin Voyages’ maiden season on the West Coast.
After debuting in Los Angeles in early April, the 2,770-guest ship is now offering a series of cruises to the Mexican Riviera and California.
The first call to San Diego took place on April 10, 2026, as part of a five-night sailing to Southern California and Mexico.
In addition to the destination, the vessel visited Santa Barbara and Ensenada before returning to the World Cruise Terminal in Los Angeles.
The maiden call to the Port of San Diego was marked by an onboard reception, which included a plaque exchange with local authorities, as well as a ship tour that covered technical spaces.
Continuing its season on the West Coast, the Brilliant Lady is currently offering weeklong cruises to the Mexican Riviera.
In early May, the 2024-built ship will embark on a repositioning voyage to the Pacific Northwest ahead of Virgin’s first season in Alaska.
Sailing from its new summer homeport, the vessel is scheduled to offer a series of seven- to 12-night cruises to Alaska and Canada.
The season is highlighted by visits to a range of destinations, including Prince Rupert, Victoria, Sitka, Ketchikan and Haines.
The Brilliant Lady is then set to return to the West Coast this fall for additional itineraries to California and the Mexican Riviera.
Following its inaugural visit to San Diego, the Brilliant Lady will make two additional visits to the port in mid-September and late October.
The 110,000-ton ship is also scheduled to arrive at the port four times in 2027, with visits between May and November of that year.
In related news, Disney and the Port of San Diego recently announced a deal to extend the company’s homeport partnership through at least 2031.
