TUI Cruises’ new Mein Schiff Flow is being redeployed for its inaugural winter season.
The ship was originally scheduled to sail in the Arabian Gulf but will now move to sail from German homeports for the winter.
While the geopolitical crisis forced the deployment change, CEO Wybcke Meier said it would work for the company very well due to the current demand from the German market.
“Germans like to travel a short distance to homeports to avoid flights,” she told Cruise Industry News. “We had a great experience with Mein Schiff 3 out of Bremerhaven doing long cruises to the Canaries and the Caribbean, and short cruises up to Norway. And now we have a second ship, and we think it will work for very well for us.”
“We have many new to cruise customers and for them this makes it even easier,” she added.
As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, the new sailings are targeted at returning and new-to-cruise passengers, and bookings will open at the end of April
After a summer season in the Mediterranean, the ship will move to Hamburg in October and then head for Kiel and the Baltic Sea at the beginning of November.
In mid-December, the Mein Schiff will return to Hamburg and then set course for Western Europe and Norway.
Journeys in 2026-27 include Christmas and New Year’s Eve sailings to Western Europe and a 20-day roundtrip from Hamburg to the Canary Islands.
The new itineraries include the following:

The cruise will sail from November 1-8, 2026 and starts at €969 per person in an inside cabin with Mein Schiff Premium inclusive services for double occupancy.
The sailing starts at €1,199 per person in a balcony cabin for double occupancy (including a €100 early-bird discount until May 31, 2026).
“11 nights — Holidays in Western Europe — from/to Hamburg”
The cruise will sail from December 23, 2026, to January 3, 2027, and is available from €1,849 per person in an interior cabin, with Mein Schiff Premium inclusive services, for double occupancy.
The sailing starts at €2,299 per person in a balcony cabin for double occupancy (including a €120 early-bird discount until May 31, 2026).
