AIDA Cruises will host sports-themed programs on selected cruises during the group stage (June 11-27) of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 

Selected matches will be broadcast live, including the German national team’s group stage games, the cruise line said in a statement. 

This will be paired with pre- and post-match reports as well as half-time analyses from various German football experts. 

Screening schedule:

• AIDAperla – Germany vs. Curacao on June 14 at 7:00 PM (during “Metropolises from Hamburg” cruise from June 13 to 20, 2026) 

• AIDAprima – Germany vs. Curacao on June 14 at 7:00 PM and Germany vs. Ivory Coast on June 20 at 10:00 PM (during “Norway’s Fjords from Hamburg” cruise from June 12 to 21, 2026) 

• AIDAcosma – Germany vs. Curacao on June 14 at 7:00 PM (during “Mediterranean Treasures with Corsica from Mallorca” cruise from June 13 to 20, 2026) 

• AIDAnova – Germany vs. Ivory Coast on June 20, 10:00 PM, and Ecuador vs. Germany on June 25, 10:00 PM (during “Norway with Sognefjord from Kiel” cruise from June 20 to 27, 2026)  

• AIDAcosma – Germany vs. Ivory Coast on June 20 at 10:00 PM and Ecuador vs. Germany on June 25 at 10:00 PM (during “Mediterranean Treasures with Sardinia from Mallorca” cruise from June 20 to 27, 2026) 

Guests will be able to watch the German national team’s matches on the pool deck, in the Theatrium, or in the brewery, with special culinary offerings to complete the experience.

Entertainment options such as prediction games, quizzes and fan talk shows will also be available.

Additionally, a special edition of the German “Doppelpass” football talk show called “Doppelpass on Cruise” with presenters Uwe Bahn, Thomas Helmer and Lou Richter, will be hosted aboard.
