Vision Set to Debut in China Out of Tianjin

Vision Tianjin

Tianjin International Cruise Homeport welcomed the arrival of the Vision on March 2, marking the start of the vessel’s first season from a northern Chinese homeport.

The ship is the former Costa Magica which Tianjin Oriental International Cruise Line acquired late last year.

The arrival follows the completion of the ship’s refurbishment at the Beihai Shipyard in Qingdao.

The 105,000-ton Vision, underwent scheduled maintenance and technical upgrades at the shipyard. The ship will now be based in Tianjin for the spring and summer season.

The Vision will primarily sail five- to seven-night itineraries to South Korean destinations, including Jeju, Busan and Incheon.

The first commercial sailing from Tianjin is scheduled for later this week on March 13, 2026.

The Vision is expected to complete a series of voyages from Tianjin before potentially repositioning for the autumn season.
