Swan Hellenic has announced its 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 Antarctic seasons following a record 2025-2026 season that saw 53 percent growth in guest numbers and 66 percent increase in net revenue, the company said in a press release.

“We are thrilled with the outstanding results achieved this season and the positive trend for the year ahead,” said Andrea Zito, CEO of Swan Hellenic.

“Our guests’ enthusiasm for the authentic discovery possible on our PC5 ice-class ships and our team’s passion for delivering extraordinary journeys continue to drive our success in Antarctica.”

Bookings for the 2026-2027 season are at 65 percent of capacity, 20 percent above last year’s total at this point.

The 2026-2027 season includes 33 voyages: 29 round-trip expeditions from Ushuaia lasting nine to 17 days plus four grand voyages across all three ships.

The 2027-2028 season offers 34 voyages comprising 29 round-trip itineraries of nine to 18 days and four grand voyages.

The SH Minerva and the SH Vega are Polar Class 5 ice-class ships capable of maintaining approximately six knots in sea ice 0.58 meters thick and 1.2 meters of brash ice.

The company’s 2025-2026 Antarctic season included winning Cruise Critic 2025 Best in Cruise Awards for Best Expedition Antarctica and Best Value Expedition Cruise Line for the third consecutive year.

In March 2026, the SH Minerva achieved a new record as the ship penetrated the extremes of George VI Sound, the furthest south Swan Hellenic has navigated in the Antarctic Peninsula.
