NCLH’s Chidsey Confirms Elliott Contact, Set For Investor Roadshow

Norwegian Aqua

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ new President and CEO John W. Chidsey confirmed the company has been in contact with activist investor Elliott Management and said he is hitting the road immediately for a two-week investor roadshow.

“We have been in touch with Elliott, like we have with all of our shareholders,” Chidsey said on the company’s fourth quarter and year-end earnings call on Monday morning.

“We’re literally hitting the road this week and next week,” he added.

“That’s one of the first things I wanted to do when I stepped in, go talk to shareholders and get their perspective on what we’ve done well and clearly what we haven’t done well,” he said.

“Hearing from Elliott is just like any other shareholder, we’re very interested in what they have to say and their thoughts on how we better drive long-term shareholder value,” Chidsey continued.
