Azamara Cruises has opened bookings for 14 World Cruise Segments, nine Grand Voyages and six Combination Cruises from its 2028 World Cruise.

Spanning 175 nights aboard the Azamara Onward, the 2028 World Cruise spans six continents, 40 countries and 91 ports.

“Azamara Cruises’ 2028 World Cruise is our most immersive global journey yet, designed for travelers who crave meaningful connections and deeper exploration,” said Mike Pawlus, head of itinerary planning at Azamara Cruises.

“With World Cruise Segments, Grand Voyages, and Combination Cruises, we’re inviting guests to create their own ‘mini’ world cruise experience, whether that’s one extraordinary chapter or a sweeping multi-region journey.”

As part of 14 World Cruise Segments, guests can book portions of the World Cruise, without committing to the entire journey, with itineraries including:

  • Peru, Chile, Pitcairn & French Polynesia (January 19 – February 4, 2028): This chapter takes guests from Lima (Callao) through the remote parts of the South Pacific, including extended visits to Easter Island and Pitcairn Island, before continuing on to French Polynesian ports such as Fakarava, Moorea and Papeete in Tahiti. Guests who book this segment also have the option of what the company says will  be a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Machu Picchu as part of its pre-cruise AzAmazing Journeys.
  • Vietnam, Thailand & Singapore (March 28 – April 10, 2028): This immersive Southeast Asia chapter features extended time ashore in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, followed by multi-day exploration in Thailand with a double overnight in Bangkok. It concludes with visits to Ko Samui and Singapore, giving guests a mix of history, cuisine and city energy.
  • Australia & Indonesia (March 1 – March 17, 2028): As part of this chapter through Australia and Indonesia, guests can experience The Spirit of Australia’s Outback AzAmazing Journey The immersive excursion takes guests to Australia’s Indigenous heartland with a journey to the Red Centre and Uluru / Ayers Rock.

Grand Voyages combine multiple segments into immersive sailings of 35 nights or more, providing deeper regional exploration across Asia, Africa and the South Pacific, with the added benefit of enhanced inclusions.

New for 2028, Grand Voyages feature additional amenities such as unlimited Wi-Fi and up to $2,000 airfare credit.

Finally, the six Combination Cruises allow travelers to build a longer, cross-continental journey that can be tailored to their schedule.
