Atlas: Limited Space Left on 2026 Mediterranean Epicurean Expeditions

  • March 9, 2026
World Traveller

Atlas Ocean’s Mediterranean Epicurean Expeditions sailing July through September 2026 have limited availability remaining, the company said in a statement.

These experiences offer a deep dive into the history, nature, art or cuisine of a destination through an exclusive excursion ashore or an event onboard.

“Our 2026 Mediterranean Epicurean Expeditions are designed to go beyond traditional cruising by offering deep, authentic connections to the region’s most marquee and boutique ports,” said James Rodriguez, president of Atlas Ocean Voyages.

“With our complimentary Atlas Immersive Experiences, we provide our guests with exclusive, after-hours access and sensory-rich encounters that simply cannot be found elsewhere.”

Atlas Immersive Experiences on 2026 World Traveller sailings include:

Ephesus Odeon at Night

Available on Civitavecchia (Rome) to Piraeus (Athens) sailing July 1-10, and Piraeus (Athens) roundtrip July 10-20

This four-hour immersion offers an opportunity to witness the archaeological site of Ephesus Oden in the evening light, free from daytime crowds.

Following a drive from Kusadasi, guests enter the ancient city after the gates have closed to the public, allowing for an exploration of the Marble Road, the Great Theater and the illuminated Library of Celsus.

A live performance by a chamber orchestra will follow, paired with canapés, Turkish wines, beer, and refreshments.

An Evening of Syros Traditions in Ermoupoli

Available on Civitavecchia (Rome) to Piraeus (Athens) sailing July 20-30, and Piraeus (Athens) to Civitavecchia (Rome) August 27 – September 9

This is a four-hour immersion in the historic venue of Hermoupolis Heritage, a restored 19th-century stone landmark in Ermoupoli.

The evening features local dancers performing in traditional costumes, complemented by a buffet of regional finger foods.

Ibiza White Night Party

Available on Civitavecchia (Rome) to Barcelona sailing July 30 – August 9

This is a glamorous two-hour event onboard in Ibiza, where the traditional White Night Party is reimagined through a palette of white and gold.

A DJ provides a musical backdrop for various dances and performances, creating a high-energy atmosphere for guests to enjoy this gala evening under the Mediterranean stars.

Kotor Citadel Concert & Folklore

Available on Civitavecchia (Rome) to Dubrovnik sailing on September 9

This hour-and-a-half immersion offers an opportunity to witness Montenegro’s talents within the walls of its famous landmark.

The evening at the Kotor Citadel begins with a walk from the port to the hilltop fortress, where guests are welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and canapés.

The centerpiece is a live performance by guitarists Darko Nikcevic and Srdjan Bulatovic, known for blending Balkan rhythms with Mediterranean and Oriental mysticism.

A folklore show is next, featuring dancers in traditional regional dress performing authentic songs and movements that celebrate the heritage of the region.
