Phoenix Reisen’s Artania recently sailed from Europe for a 125-night cruise to the Americas and the Caribbean.

Having departed from the Italian port of Savona earlier this month, the itinerary started with a series of visits to ports of call in the Atlantic and the Caribbean.

The Artania initially visited destinations in Spain and Morocco, such as Málaga, Agadir, Arrecife and Tenerife.

Before crossing the Atlantic, the 1984-built vessel also visited Sal, Mindelo and Porto Novo in the Cape Verde archipelago.

As part of its segment in the Caribbean, the cruise featured visits to Antigua, St. Kitts, Guadeloupe, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent, Grenadines, Grenada and Tobago.

The Artania then arrived in South America for ports of call in French Guiana, Guayana, Brazil, Argentina and more.

The 1,200-passenger vessel is currently sailing to destinations on the Brazilian coast, including Fortaleza, Recife, Salvador, Ilhéus and Búzios.

Before sailing around Cape Horn and arriving in the Pacific, the cruise also features a three-day visit to Rio de Janeiro, as well as calls to Punta del Este and Montevideo in Uruguay.

In Argentina, the Artania is scheduled to sail to Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn and Ushuaia, while in Chile, the ship sails to Puerto Montt, Puerto Williams, Castro, San Antonio and Iquique.

The vessel is also scheduled to visit destinations in Peru and Ecuador before crossing the Panama Canal on its way back to the Caribbean.

Following additional ports of call in the region, the itinerary arrives in the Bahamas and North America, with visits to Nassau, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Charleston, Baltimore and Norfolk.

The Artania is then set to conclude its four-month visit to the Americas with an overnight call to New York City.

Set to end at the German port of Bremerhaven, the cruise also features stops in the Azores and England before coming to an end on May 12, 2026.
