Paul Gauguin Opens 2028 Voyages for Booking

  • February 23, 2026
Paul Gauguin

Paul Gauguin Cruises has presented a number of 2028 voyages across the South Pacific and French Polynesia that are available for booking.

Ranging from seven to 14 nights, the 39 voyages enable travelers to explore the Society Islands, Tuamotus, Marquesas, Cook Islands, and South Pacific.

Highlights include multiple overnights, two days in the protected coral atoll of Fakarava on select departures, and programming in Tahuata, said to be the smallest inhabited island in the Marquesas.

“From the iconic islands of Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea to more remote archipelagos like The Marquesas, our 2028 voyages are designed for travelers who want to forge deeper connections with the culture, explore the environment with care and respect, and embrace the region’s sacred energy of mana,” said Samuel Chamberlain, CEO Americas, Ponant Exploration Group.

“Every stop, extended port stay, and program has been thoughtfully curated, guided by more than 28 years of expertise navigating these waters and our strong relationships with local communities.”

Polynesian culture is brought to life onboard through music, storytelling, and other activities led by Les Gauguines, a troupe of Tahitian hosts who live on the ship.

The 2028 itineraries:

Tahiti & the Society Islands (seven nights / three overnights / 11 sailings)

This seven-night sojourn explores destinations in the South Pacific such as Taha’a and Moorea.

Pearl of the Society Islands (seven nights / two overnights / seven sailings)

This sailing includes visits to Raiatea, thought to be the cradle of Polynesian culture; Huahine, known as the Garden of Eden; an overnight beneath the peaks of Bora Bora; and the lagoons of Moorea.

Society Islands & The Tuamotus (10 nights / three overnights / eight sailings)

This journey through the Tuamotu Archipelago features an overnight stay at UNESCO-recognized Fakarava. Highlights include visits to Rangiroa, known for its lagoons, Bora Bora’s lagoons and Moorea’s beaches, among others.

Society Islands & The Tuamotus (11 nights / three overnights / five sailings)

This itinerary is an exploration of the Tuamotus and its atolls, and Society Islands, with their jungles and Raiatea’s spiritual heritage. The voyage features a double overnight stay in Bora Bora.

Cook Islands & Society Islands (11 nights / three overnights / three sailings)

This South Pacific itinerary explores the rugged terrain of Rarotonga, the coral reef-lined lagoon of Aitutaki, with Bora Bora and Moorea as its highlights.

Marquesas, The Tuamotus & Society Islands (14 nights / one overnight / five sailings)

With two weeks in the Marquesas, Tuamotus, and Society Islands, this immersive journey offers an exploration of sandy beaches and activities above and below water.

Guests who book early can get fares starting at $2,880 per guest, including Bonus Savings up to 30 percent.
