Norwegian Cruise Line is changing itineraries planned for the upcoming European season of the Norwegian Pearl.
According to statements sent to booked guests, at least two departures set to take place this summer were adjusted in early February.
One of the cruises affected is set to sail between the ports of Piraeus in Greece and Ravenna in Italy starting on May 10, 2026.
“As part of our commitment to delivering a seamless, memorable experience, we’d like to share an update to your itinerary following revised port availability,” the company said in its notice.
“Even the most thoughtfully curated itineraries may require occasional updates, and while these moments can be unexpected, they also create opportunities to reimagine your journey in a fresh and meaningful way,” Norwegian added.
According to the statement, a previously scheduled visit to the Greek island of Santorini will be replaced with a call to Mykonos.
Norwegian also changed arrival and departure times for the ship’s planned visit to Kotor in Montenegro, giving guests an extra half hour on shore.
The seven-night cruise also includes visits to Katakolon and Corfu in Greece, as well as Split in Croatia and Koper in Slovenia.
The company also adjusted the itinerary of Norwegian Pearl’s June 21, 2026, departure, which will sail from Piraeus to Ravenna.
Sailing to Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia, the port-intensive itinerary will now feature a visit to Split instead of Zadar. Norwegian also adjusted the arrival and departure times for the ship’s visit to Montenegro.
As part of the cruise, the Norwegian Pearl is also scheduled to visit Santorini, Katakolon, Corfu and Koper.
“Although we work closely with port authorities to confirm every detail far in advance, circumstances can still shift, and on occasion, we are notified that space is no longer available,” Norwegian explained.
“As fellow travelers at heart, we understand the disappointment changes can bring, and we appreciate your understanding,” the company added.
According to both statements, pre-booked shore excursions for the cancelled ports of call will be refunded to their original forms of payment.
