The Carnival Pride is set to return to the port of Baltimore one day later than initially planned due to a snowstorm.

According to an update shared by Carnival Cruise Line’s Brand Ambassador John Heald on Saturday, the 2001-built vessel is expected to dock at its homeport at noon on January 26, 2026.

Wrapping up a 14-night cruise to the Southern Caribbean, the ship was initially set to return to Baltimore early in the morning of January 25, 2026.

“Due to a winter storm expected to bring heavy snow to Baltimore this weekend, we will be unable to operate the cruise as scheduled,” Carnival said in its statement.

The company added that the revised arrival plans will result in a shortened cruise for embarking passengers.

Heald said that Carnival shared additional details of the change directly with guests, who were initially set to embark for a seven-night cruise to the Bahamas.

Sailing roundtrip from Baltimore, the itinerary featured a visit to Bimini, as well as the private destinations of Celebration Key and Princess Cays.

“I am so sorry for the change to your cruise, but I’m sure everybody understands, and we will of course make sure that we are ready to give you the most wonderful time,” Heald said.

“I know the crew will be determined to give you all the fun you deserve,” he added, noting that Carnival will keep guests updated on any further changes.

Heald added on Sunday that guests were soon expected to receive check-in and embarkation information from the company.

As previously reported by Cruise Industry News, Carnival warned guests of potential delays for the ship’s upcoming departure.

In a message issued last week, the company said that heavy snow in the Baltimore region could affect the vessel’s operational plans.
