Port Canaveral Officially World’s Busiest Cruise Port

Six ship day

Port Canaveral has earned the distinction as the busiest cruise port in the world with over 8.6 million revenue passenger movements in its fiscal year 2025, just beating out Miami.

The confirmed tally is the highest number of cruise passengers in the port’s history and amounts to a 13-percent increase over fiscal year 2024.

“Earning this distinction is a direct reflection of our ongoing commitment and focused efforts to be the best port possible, providing a high-quality experience for all cruise guests sailing from our Port,” said Capt. John Murray, Port Canaveral CEO.

“With thanks to our hard-working teams and the confidence we’ve earned from the cruise lines, this milestone underscores our commitment to supporting our cruise partners’ business growth.”
