Cunard is adjusting the current itinerary of the Queen Mary 2 due to a delayed departure from New York on Nov. 26, 2025.

Offering a 12-night cruise to the Caribbean, the 2004-built ship was originally scheduled to sail to five ports in the Caribbean.

According to a statement sent to guests before the cruise, the itinerary had to be adjusted due to embarkation in New York starting slightly later than previously scheduled.

Guests were asked to arrive at the cruise terminal to board the Queen Mary 2 two hours later than the arrival time published on their boarding passes.

“As we look forward to the upcoming voyage and finalize arrangements with the local agents, we regret to advise that our previously planned call to St. Kitts on Dec. 4, 2025, can no longer go ahead,” Cunard said.

“In an effort to ensure that you can continue to enjoy your time ashore, we have secured an overnight call in Bridgetown, Barbados,” the company continued.

As part of the changes, the Queen Mary 2 is now scheduled to arrive in Barbados on Dec. 2, 2025, remaining docked in Bridgetown through late evening on Dec. 3, 2025.

“In order to accommodate this exciting overnight opportunity, our call to St. Lucia will now take place on Dec. 4, 2025,” Cunard added.

All shore excursions pre-purchased via Cunard were cancelled and refunded to guests’ original form of payment, while pre-booked tours for St. Lucia were moved to the new date.

In addition to Barbados and St. Lucia, the Queen Mary 2 is also scheduled to visit St. Maarten and Dominica.

“We apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility,” Cunard said.

As part of its traditional schedule in the North Atlantic, the Queen Mary 2 is scheduled to offer trans-Atlantic crossings in December before embarking on a holiday voyage to the Caribbean later this year.
