The Star Princess recently made its U.S. debut after entering service in the Mediterranean in early October.

As the second ship in Princess Cruises’ Sphere Class, the LNG-powered vessel arrived in Port Everglades for the first time on Nov. 5, 2025 and was named the following day.

The call marked the ship’s maiden visit to a port in North America, in addition to the beginning of its first winter season.

A plaque ceremony with Port Everglades officials was held aboard the vessel following her arrival.

Following a couple of short cruises, the Star Princess kicks off a series of seven-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean on Nov. 15, 2025.

The deployment includes weeklong itineraries to destinations such as Cozumel in Mexico, Roatán in Honduras, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos.

Most of the cruises also include a visit to Princess Cruises’ private island destination in the Bahamas, Princess Cays.

Upon concluding its sailings in the region, the Star Princess is scheduled to transit the Panama Canal for a summer season in Alaska.

As the largest Princess ship to sail in the region, the 175,500-ton vessel will offer a series of seven-night cruises departing from Seattle in summer 2026.

The itineraries feature visits to Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau and Victoria, in addition to scenic cruising at the Tracy Arm Fjord and the Inside Passage.
