MXP has announced that with its MXP365 digital customer journey, cruise passengers can now invite friends to visit the ship via the MXP365 Guest App.
The company said in a press release that the fully automated process streamlines visitor registration, approval and check-in, while opening new revenue streams by allowing guests to invite visitors onboard.
This feature is available pre-cruise and during the cruise. With the invitation, visitors self-register online.
The company added that an automated workflow approves the request, and upon arrival, the digital visitor list streamlines check-in.
The MXP Visitor Management also provides an end-to-end process for self-registration, approval, digital visitor passes with port and pier profiles, automated communication with port agents and streamlined visitor handling onboard.
According to MXP, the key benefits include the following:
- Reduced workload: Visitors self-register through the web portal, followed by an automated approval workflow and automatic forwarding of visitor information to the port agents
- Efficient group handling: Travel agents visiting the ships can manage their groups, while management of drydock workers for cabins on board and ship access is optimized
