Birka Gotland has announced that the company will be hosting its Christmas table this year, supplemented by the Christmas show, Winter Wonderland.

The table and show will be opened onboard as of Tuesday, November 17, offering a classic Swedish Christmas table prepared with local ingredients in the Sjösalen and Salonen restaurants onboard.

“We are so looking forward to starting the Christmas celebration together with our guests,” said Daniela Nikander, product manager for Birka Gotland.

“It is a very special time of the year when the atmosphere on the Birka Gotland becomes even warmer and more convivial, if possible, while at the same time you can advantageously take the opportunity to find the Christmas presents at really good prices in our duty-free shop,” added Nikander.

The company said in a press release that the table will feature the Baltic Sea’s largest selection of self-pickled herring and flounder dishes, seafood luxury directly from the sea and an irresistible ice cream cart, among other dishes.

In addition, the Vocalettes and the show team, The Rhapsodettes, will offer the Christmas show, Winter Wonderland. The show at the Radio City Music Hall is given on all departures from Sunday to Wednesday.

Birka Gotland’s Christmas table season runs until December 22.
