Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2026-27 Panama Canal and Hawaii cruise seasons.
The voyages, ranging from 14 to 28 days, will sail aboard six ships departing from five North American homeports. The new itineraries will take guests to UNESCO World Heritage sites and various ports, including opportunities to celebrate Thanksgiving in Honolulu.
Guests can choose from twelve Panama Canal voyages, ranging from 14 to 21 days, with options for both shorter and longer vacations. Sailings are available aboard the Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Zuiderdam, departing from or arriving in Vancouver, British Columbia; Seattle, Washington; San Diego, California; or Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“It’s easy to understand why the Panama Canal — one of the engineering wonders of the modern world — is on the top of so many of our guests’ bucket lists,” said Paul Grigsby, vice president of deployment, revenue planning and analytics for Holland America Line. “Each cruise will transit the historic canal, giving guests a front row seat to the fascinating operation of by locomotives that guide the ships through the locks. And not only will these itineraries that allow guests to not only experience a once-in-a-lifetime transit of the canal, but they also include exciting ports of call in both North and Latin America.”
Travelers can opt for a 21-day Panama Canal cruise aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam, sailing from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale. The voyage visits 11 ports across eight countries, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of Joya de Ceren in El Salvador. It also features a stop at Half Moon Cay, Holland America Line’s private island. Additionally, select itineraries will include a visit to Acapulco, Mexico, marking the first time in nearly 15 years the port has been featured, offering beaches, ancient ruins, and local cuisine.
Six Hawaii itineraries are available, ranging from 17 to 28 days, sailing aboard the Koningsdam, Noordam and Zaandam, departing from Vancouver, Seattle, or San Diego. Each cruise features onboard cultural programming, including talks, performances and activities like hula dancing and ukulele lessons. For a unique Thanksgiving experience, guests can sail roundtrip from San Diego on Zaandam’s 18-day Circle Hawaii Holiday cruise, visiting five Hawaiian ports and Ensenada, Mexico. The ship arrives in Honolulu on Thanksgiving Day for an overnight stay before heading to Hilo.

Guests looking to explore both Alaska and Hawaii can choose a 27- or 28-day Legendary Glaciers & Volcanoes: Alaska to Hawaii voyage aboard the Noordam. Sailing roundtrip Seattle or Vancouver to Seattle, the voyage departs in September 2026 and takes guests to visit six ports in Alaska and British Columbia, including Kodiak and Dutch Harbor, before heading south to four ports in Hawaii, including an overnight call in Honolulu.
