MSC’s New Barcelona Terminal Welcomes First Guests

MSC Barcelona Terminal

A new cruise terminal in Barcelona for the Cruise Division of MSC Group today welcomed its first guests when the MSC Fantasia arrived, according to a press release.

The significant infrastructure development will serve ships from both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys, the company said.

Sandra Yunta, Director of the MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal, welcomed the first disembarking passengers from MSC Fantasia as part of a sevent-night voyage in the West Mediterranean with a celebratory toast together with Gianluca Suprani, SVP Global Port Development and Shore Activities.

The new cruise terminal, developed by Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, reinforces MSC Group’s commitment to Barcelona and its vision for the future.

The building combines elegant and innovative design with an enhanced guest experience to ensure a smooth and memorable journey.

The new Barcelona terminal will be officially inaugurated in the coming months when more details will be announced.
